Does skin needling hurt?
This is the top question on this treatment. While you might think having tiny needles puncture your skin would hurt, surprisingly it does not hurt. Before your treatment you will have a topical anaesthetic applied. The MDerma™ skin needling device is designed to puncture the skin at such a fast speed with such tiny needles, that it does not produce a painful response.
Is the treatment safe?
Yes, the treatment is completely safe. The needles used are one-use only needles, so there is no risk of contamination and the speed and depth are controlled by the MDerma™ device and our qualified clinician.
How long will it take to heal?
The MDerma™ skin needling device penetrates the epidermis (the top most layer of skin), which heals rapidly. Within 24 to 48 hours your skin will have healed and be looking new again.
